Founded October 21, 2002 by Carolyn Gowen and Pat Trainum for the purpose of spreading the Abstinence message to teens, their parents, and to all single adults. R.I.S.E. not only focuses on the abstinence-until-marriage message but also focuses on other risky behaviors such as alcohol, tobacco, drug use, and pornography. It is our desire to educate not only youth but their parents as well about the serious emotional and physical consequences of these risky behaviors. Our curriculum, R.I.S.E.
